Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The platform Amanah AI (the "Platform", "Service") is developed, owned, and operated exclusively by:

Obsidian Arrow LLP is the sole rights holder of the Platform, including the "Amanah" trademark, domain name, source code, scoring methodology, all analytical algorithms, and other intellectual property.

Amanah AI is a commercial analytical platform designed to conduct preliminary assessments of the compliance of business models, financial instruments, and investment projects with Islamic finance principles (Shariah Readiness Assessment).

The Platform provides the following services:

• Preliminary scoring analysis across 6 AAOIFI/IFSB methodology blocks;
• Generation of a Shariah Readiness Report under available plans (Single Report, Report Pack 3, Report Pack 10, Investor Pack);
• Identification of risk areas for non-compliance with Islamic finance principles;
• Advisory support within the Investor Pack plan and on individual request;
• Preparation of analytical materials for attracting Islamic investors.

The Platform is addressed to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs interested in assessing their business against Islamic financial standards, as well as Islamic investors conducting preliminary due diligence.

What the output is NOT	Explanation
A Fatwa	A religious ruling may only be issued by a qualified Islamic scholar (Mufti, Sharia Scholar). No algorithm or analytical system can substitute for such a ruling.
An Official Shariah Certificate	The Platform is not an accredited Shariah certification body. Only authorised Shariah Supervisory Boards (SSBs) may issue official compliance certificates.
Legal Advice	The Platform's outputs are not legal advice, legal expertise, or the opinion of a licensed attorney. For legal matters, consult a qualified lawyer.
An Investment Recommendation	The Platform is not a licensed investment adviser. Any investment decisions are made by the user independently and at their own risk.
An Audit Opinion	The Platform's scoring is not a financial statement audit. For financial audit purposes, engage a licensed auditor.
A Guarantee of Investment	A high score or "Investment Ready" status does not guarantee the attraction of financing from any specific investor.

The Amanah AI methodology is based on the publicly available standards of AAOIFI (Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions) and IFSB (Islamic Financial Services Board) and comprises 6 analytical blocks:

1. Business Activity — compliance of the core business with Islamic finance principles;
2. Revenue Sources — analysis of the revenue structure for Riba, Gharar, Maysir;
3. Financial Structure — debt burden, compliance of financing instruments;
4. Contractual Framework — financial instruments used (Murabahah, Musharakah, Ijarah, etc.);
5. Transparency and Governance — presence of SSB, audit, disclosure;
6. Investment Readiness — readiness to attract Islamic capital.

Analysis is carried out based on data submitted by the user during the application process. The accuracy of results depends directly on the completeness and accuracy of the data provided.

To the maximum extent permitted by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Obsidian Arrow LLP shall not be liable for:

• any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses of the user;
• loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities;
• loss of user data due to technical failures;
• decisions made by the user based on Platform outputs;
• errors, inaccuracies, or outdated data submitted by the user or third parties;
• temporary unavailability of the Platform due to technical reasons;
• actions of third parties, including hosting providers, email services, and API partners;
• religious, ethical, or reputational consequences for the user;
• any mismatch between the user's expectations and the actual results of the analysis.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties.

The aggregate liability of Obsidian Arrow LLP to any user shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user for Platform services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The user bears full and sole responsibility for:

• the accuracy, completeness, and currency of data submitted during registration and the application process;
• any decisions (investment, business, financial, religious) made using Platform outputs;
• compliance of their own activities with applicable law;
• unauthorised access to the Platform from their devices or account;
• use of Platform outputs in contradiction with the terms of this document and the Terms of Use.

The user confirms that before taking any significant decision they will conduct their own additional verification and, where necessary, consult qualified professionals.

The Platform is not a Shariah Supervisory Board (SSB), has no authority to issue religious rulings, and does not claim to replace the opinion of a qualified Islamic scholar.

To obtain an official Shariah ruling, users should consult:

• a qualified Islamic scholar (Sharia Scholar / Mufti);
• an accredited Shariah Supervisory Board (AAOIFI-certified SSB);
• a national Islamic finance regulator (e.g., BNM in Malaysia, CBUAE in the UAE).

The user acknowledges and accepts the following limitations:

Limitation	Description
Input data quality	The accuracy of the analysis is determined by the quality of data submitted by the user. Incomplete or inaccurate data leads to incorrect results.
Algorithmic limitations	Any automated system has margins of error. The Platform's algorithm cannot replace human expert judgement.
Standard currency	AAOIFI and IFSB standards are periodically updated. The Platform endeavours to keep its methodology current, but does not guarantee immediate reflection of all changes.
Regional differences	The interpretation of Islamic finance norms may differ across jurisdictions (Malaysia, UAE, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, etc.). Platform outputs do not account for all regional specificities.
Business changes	Analysis results are accurate as of the date of submission. Changes to the user's business model require a new assessment.

Obsidian Arrow LLP is not:

• a licensed investment adviser;
• a broker, dealer, or asset manager;
• a participant in the securities market.

No information contained on the Platform or in the analysis results should be construed as:

• advice or an offer to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument;
• a forecast of returns or a guarantee of capital recovery;
• confirmation of the financial soundness or solvency of any analysed company.

All investment decisions are made solely by the user at their own risk following independent due diligence.

This Legal Disclaimer is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

All disputes arising in connection with use of the Platform shall be resolved:

1. through a pre-trial procedure by submitting a written claim to info@amanah-ai.com (response period — 30 calendar days);
2. if no agreement is reached — through the courts at the place of registration of Obsidian Arrow LLP in accordance with the procedural legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

If any provision of this document is found to be invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

This Legal Disclaimer comes into effect on 26 March 2026 and remains in force until a new version is adopted. Obsidian Arrow LLP reserves the right to amend this document unilaterally. The current version is always available at amanah-ai.com/disclaimer.html.
